Gender Equality and Sport Around the World
摘要
Sports has typically been seen as a male pursuit but women have also participated. In the era since Title IX was passed in the United States more opportunities for women in sports have opened. This chapter examines what opportunities have become available and what challenges still exist around the globe, such as those related to gender, religion and politics.
