A Sustainable Approach to Biosynthesis of Nanoparticles from Agro-waste
摘要
Biomolecules are the building blocks of the diverse biotic species found in nature, including plants, algae, fungi, yeast, and others. They play a role in the production of nanoparticles with distinctive shapes and sizes, acting as a catalyst for the biosynthesis of nanoparticles with a procedure that is safe for the environment. In contrast to physical or chemical synthesis methods, the use of waste materials minimises energy requirements, the necessity for utilising hazardous chemicals or by-products, and it promotes “green synthesis”. Agro-waste implementation would undoubtedly be a significant step towards sustainable development. Agriculture is no exception to the nanotechnology’s search for applications in science and technology, but much more research and development is required before it can be established in the agro-industrial sector, as agriculture is known as the foundation of our economy.
