摘要

The giftedness phenomenon is considered from psychological, physiological, and pedagogical perspectives. Children with giftedness and limited health opportunities are of particular interest. The heterogeneity of this group actualizes and makes it difficult to create a single template for their identification. The presence of outstanding intellectual and creative qualities and abilities in sports does not guarantee the success of an individual. However, it is a resource that requires a combination of internal and external conditions for its development. This makes it important to identify such children from the perspective of interpreting giftedness as a special status that develops in the process of a child’s various activities and gradually leads to changes in the personality itself. In accordance with this understanding, the search for gifted children should include an analysis of their activities and their psychological structure, which is an objective basis for the integration of individual abilities necessary for the successful realization of a person in all directions.
