The Agricultural Cooperative of Kalamata

The Agricultural Cooperative of Kalamata (ACK) was founded in 1963 and is comprised of over 300 olive oil growers in the municipality of Kalamata which is situated in the region of Messenia (Peloponnese, Greece). Since then, the members of the Agricultural Cooperative of Kalamata have implemented an environmental management system while ensuring the production of premium quality extra virgin olive oil. Today ACK members cultivate an area of 300 ha and produce more than 260 tons of olive oil. Most of this excellent quality olive oil and specifically 90% of the production conform to P.D.O. KALAMATA standards, and about 10% is certified organic olive oil.
