摘要

This chapter lays out the conceptual basis of the book. It introduces a fundamental position: that recurring problems flag up what needs to be reflected upon and changed, and provide essential foci for a new conceptualisation. It outlines two tools for thinking about them deployed throughout the book: examples from real life, and the philosophy of creativity developed by Deleuze. It ends with an overarching account that identifies options for renewal and invites all people who think change is overdue to join in its creation.
