Applying Artificial Intelligence in the E-Learning Field: Review Article

Artificial intelligence has succeeded in creating a massive technological revolution in the education sector especially in e-learning, by improving the overall learning experience for all educational institutions and their staff. In this paper, we will conduct a review study about how artificial intelligence enhances and helps the eLearning field by applying many techniques. These techniques are adaptive learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automated grading and assessment, automated administration, chatbots and virtual assistants, speech recognition, virtual labs and simulations, content recommendation, predictive analytics, and improving language learning. The findings indicate that the use of these techniques based on artificial intelligence can improve the education process. Also, it handles the challenges and obstacles that learners and students face when using the eLearning system.
