Sun Protection
摘要
The risks of excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation are well-documented and range from sunburn, eye damage, and photoaging to skin cancers. In order to protect oneself, it is advisable to limit sun exposure during the midday sun, seek shade, wear UV-protective clothing and hats, and apply sunscreen to exposed skin. In this chapter, we will discuss UV radiation, the history of sunscreens, available UV filters, and sun protection in children.
