摘要

Water sports and recreational activities such as fishing, diving, and swimming have become integral aspects of people’s lives across various cultures. However, engagement in these activities exposes individuals to potential cutaneous dermatoses caused by interactions with marine organisms. This chapter explores the diversity of cutaneous manifestations resulting from contact with marine invertebrates, marine vertebrates, wound infections, and other associated dermatoses. Specific dermatological responses range from urticarial eruptions to vesicles, ulcers, and necrosis. It addresses the management of injuries caused by marine organisms, emphasizing the importance of prompt wound care, pain relief, and potential systemic effects.
