Myiasis

Myiasis is the infestation of humans and animal tissues by Diptera larvae. It has various classifications based on entomology or clinical presentation. Various groups of flies are responsible for the infestation. Diagnosis is made on clinical features, and dermoscopy may be used as a diagnostic aids. The aim of treatment is the complete removal of the larvae.
