摘要

Coccidioidomycosis, also known as “Valley Fever,” is a fungal infection endemic to arid regions of North, Central, and South America, including popular tourist destinations in Arizona and California. Infections primarily cause pneumonia, but may also disseminate to the skin. Pulmonary infections can also induce immune-mediated rashes, including acute exanthem, Sweet syndrome, interstitial granulomatous dermatitis, and erythema nodosum. Recognition of the skin manifestations of coccidioidomycosis may aid in diagnosing returning travelers.
