This study aims to comprehensively investigate the role of knowledge and innovation management as crucial drivers of competitiveness in textile firms. Employing a rigorous bibliometric analysis, the study seeks to explore the scholarly landscape, identify trends, and unravel patterns related to knowledge and innovation management in the textile industry. By systematically reviewing academic literature from Scopus and Web of Science data bases using R and Biblioshiny, the study identifies key themes, explores collaborative networks, and evaluates gaps in existing knowledge. The analysis includes a thematic map, meta-analysis of research trends, and an examination of sources, authors, affiliations, and countries contributing to the literature. The study reveals a multidimensional exploration of the textile industry, emphasizing innovation, knowledge management, competition, and sustainable development. The thematic map illustrates the interconnectedness of diverse topics, emphasizing the complexity of factors influencing competitiveness. Clusters such as the textile industry, market, sustainable development, knowledge-based systems, and product design provide a nuanced understanding of knowledge and innovation management in textiles. The analysis highlights a pivotal interplay between knowledge and innovation management in shaping competitiveness, with a growing scholarly focus on the subject. China emerges as a leading contributor, reflecting global engagement.
