Impact of Effective Leadership Styles to Achieve the Sustainable Growth of Manufacturing Firms

The article examines the crucial role of leadership in driving sustainable growth within the manufacturing sector, with a specific focus on the textile industry. The aim of this study is to analyse how different leadership styles contribute to achieving sustainability in manufacturing processes, a sector pivotal to global economic development and environmental stewardship. Employing a comprehensive bibliometric analysis using R and Biblioshiny, the study systematically reviews and synthesizes existing literature. This methodological approach facilitates an in-depth exploration of citation patterns, publication trends, and thematic clusters, enabling the identification of influential works and emerging trends in the field of leadership and sustainability within textile manufacturing. Findings reveal that sustainable development is a central theme in the context of manufacturing firms’ growth. Leadership styles, particularly transformational and participative, are identified as key drivers in fostering sustainable practices. The study highlights the integration of environmental management and technological advancements as vital components in the pursuit of sustainability in the textile industry. It also uncovers the significant role of human resource management and the necessity for adaptive and ethical leadership competencies to address the industry’s unique challenges. This research contributes to the understanding of the dynamic interplay between leadership styles and sustainable manufacturing practices.
