摘要

In developing countries the issue of women empowerment is considered an important parameter of development, and the percentage of working women is considered a symbol of progress for society. Working women, after becoming mothers, try to play the dual role of being a mother and an efficient member at their place of work. Working mothers within their busy schedule try their best to support their children at the expense of their self-care. Health issues are the accumulation of physicalPhysical and psychologicalPsychological feelings. Being the person within a family whom all other members depend upon and being the homemaker for the children’s care, mothers become depressed and emotional. In the present work, an initiative has been made to depict the health issues of working mothersWorking mothers and their children as a case study in Krishnanagar, headquarter of Nadia District, West Bengal, India.
