Morphology of Selected Families

This chapter presents the classification of Foraminifera and describes the morphology of 80 genera of larger benthic Foraminifera. These genera belong to 37 families and six orders. The morphological features, including the tests’ endoskeletonEndoskeletons, exoskeletonExoskeletons, and supplemental skeletonSupplemental skeleton, are described and richly illustrated.
