Year 3: Internal Medicine Learning using “1,2,3 Methodology”
摘要
This section ends the most comprehensive portion of this book and finishes forming the scaffolding of this learning strategy. As the internal medicine learner begins the third year of residency, the focus shifts much greater to the outpatient arena with less time spent in the ICU and general wards of most residencies in the country. The book is designed in this section to focus more on the outpatient facets of care of all the specialties to include the gastroenterology, cardiology, and infectious diseases topics which were much more focused in year 1 of this section on inpatient pearls of wisdom. There are still key inpatient pearls that are introduced and others that are repeated from year 1 and year 2 of this section. This year 3 of this section also emphasizes pearls in the areas of dermatology, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology that were not as frequently discussed in the first 2 years of this section.
