This chapter concludes on the importance of Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR) in alleviating the burden of litigation on the court system and creating a more civil and conducive atmosphere for resolving disputes. The book emphasises the value of ADR as a tool for legal empowerment and justice for vulnerable populations in Nigeria, the UK, and the US. It highlights how ADR methods such as mediation, arbitration, negotiation, amongst others offer a more cost-effective and efficient alternative to lengthy and expensive court battles. The chapter also examines the historical context of dispute resolution methods, including the Traditional African Method of Settling Disputes (TAMSD), and how ADR has gained recognition as an appropriate method for resolving conflicts. The book explores real-life judgments from experts worldwide, showcasing the impact of ADR in Nigeria, the UK, and the US in improving access to justice. Furthermore, the chapter points out the need for government support, awareness campaigns, and funding to sustain and enhance ADR initiatives particularly via podcast which is a creative and innovative pedagogical tool.
