Psychopharmacology for Pediatric ADHD
摘要
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by challenges with short attention span and/or hyperactivity which cause impairments in functioning at school, work, home, and in social situations. Stimulant medications are the most effective treatment for core ADHD symptoms. Other FDA-approved pharmacologic treatments include atomoxetine and alpha-2 adrenergic agonists. Non-FDA-approved pharmacologic treatments include bupropion and modafinil.
