Conclusion: Remaining Suggestions to Share
摘要
In this chapter, I conclude the book by sharing the remaining suggestions/observations about doing and writing autoethnography that I gather from my own experience of reading and writing (about) autoethnographies. Those suggestions pertain to the importance of engaging in solo or collaborative autoethnographic research to better understand our sociopolitical situatedness as researchers and otherwise, first-hand experiencing the position of a research participant whose life is put under research scrutiny, the autoethnographer’s unique access to the personal data, challenges involved in publishing autoethnographies, and using autoethnography as a teacher learning activity.
