Knowledge Management in the Context of Digital Transformation of Education and Science in Ukraine: Challenges in Professional Training

The prosperity of any state requires the development of human potential and effective knowledge management. It includes training of researchers who ensure movement of progress in society and ensure process of education and science digitalization. The article analyzes concepts of “computerization of education”, “informatization of education”, “digitalization of education”. They are used as synonyms and have the same lexical meaning. considering problems of training specialists to ensure process of education and science digitization in ukraine it can be concluded that such training is currently carried out in master’s and postgraduate courses in the field of knowledge 01 education/pedagogy, 011 educational, pedagogical sciences under the educational-professional and educational-scientific program “information and communication technologies in education”. We believe that it is necessary to improve quality of the training program for future specialists in information and communication technologies in education: it is necessary to launch platform for formation of up-to-date knowledge base and requests for specialists; conduct competitions and contests among students of various educational institutions; research the best foreign and domestic practices (augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, cybersecurity, etc.); develop “soft” skills (leadership, communications, critical thinking, creativity, etc.). Trends of digital transformation of education, science and training of specialists for the implementation of this process were summarized and determined.
