Using Digital Technologies to Form a Sense of Ownership of Early Career Researchers in the Scientific Community

The study analyzes the features of digital technologies using by scientists to carry out scientific activities in current conditions of social transformation and their impact on the formation of the researcher's sense of ownership. The digital competence of a modern scientist is the key to reducing the time and financial costs of research and the presentation of scientific results. A survey of early-career researchers and Ph.D. students confirmed that there is a close relationship between the levels of digital competence, the level of scientists’ sense of ownership towards the scientific community. It influences psychological well-being and determines the sense of effectiveness and necessity of their research. Recommendations for the use of digital technologies to form a sense of ownership of early career researchers and Ph.D. students were developed. It is confirmed that the use of digital technologies is an important tool for forming a sense of ownership of Ph.D. students and early career researchers towards the scientific community, creating a system of socio-psychological support them in involvement to the scientific environment and have a positive impact on their psychological well-being and increase the sense of life success.
