Biofunctionalized Nanomaterials a Zero Waste Approach for the Remediation of Pollutants

摘要

Environmental deterioration is currently a major problem for both emerging and wealthy nations. Large-scale industrialization and intensive agricultural activity are the major concerns to cause contagion of environment. There are numerous conventional treatments for various environmental contaminants, but each has certain drawbacks. As a result, a different approach is needed, one that is efficient, less harmful, and produces better results. Because of advancement in nanotechnology, nanomaterials outperform more than traditional methods and are very helpful to in saving the environment. Nanomaterials in very small quantities lead to speedy decline in noxious waste material. An overview of several biofunctionalized nanomaterials with zero waste potential will be included in the current review in order to address potential future applications.
