Systematic Change

  • Randolph Hall

摘要

Whereas universities teach students to become entrepreneurs and innovators, they should also find ways to change and improve in their own practices, becoming innovative and building trust on the inside as well as the outside. Five recommendations for systematic change are provided: (1) learn as an institution; (2) align to unify purpose and vision; (3) create and collaborate; (4) partner in innovation, inside and outside; and (5) commit to both transparency and privacy. Ultimately, systematic change entails a desire to experiment, learn, and implement, creating novel programs, technology, and processes that advance research, service, and learning.
