The primary foci analysis is the entrepreneurial ecosystem, barriers to entrepreneurship, and growth strategies. As a result, this review offers a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge state in this field. Tailored growth strategies for women-led start-ups represent a valuable resource for promoting entrepreneurship and creating a more equitable and inclusive entrepreneurial landscape. The present research highlights several theoretical and practical implications. This work contributes from theoretical perspectives to the literature on female entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategic planning. From a managerial perspective, it can provide valuable insights for practitioners involved in the growth trajectory of innovative female start-ups, helping them make well-informed decisions. In addition, this literature review has limitations related to data availability, regional and cultural contexts, and the representation of diverse experiences among women entrepreneurs. Future research, however, could be enhanced by utilizing databases such as Google Scholar, Web of Science, and EBSCO. Additionally, this study may serve as the initial step for further research, such as case studies or longitudinal approaches, to gain a deeper understanding of the complex phenomenon of growth strategies for female enterprises. The use of multiple research approaches can enrich our knowledge in this area.
