Pharmacotherapy for Inhalant Use Disorder
摘要
Pharmacological treatment for inhalant use disorder (IUD) remains constrained due to limited research initiatives, insufficient screening practices, and underreported usage patterns. The heterogeneity of the substances and ethical concerns in research further hinder progress in developing targeted pharmacotherapies. Current treatment guidelines primarily emphasize prevention strategies, psychosocial interventions, and management of comorbid conditions. While recent studies indicate potential pharmacologic options, these findings require cautious interpretation due to limited trial data. The future of IUD treatment lies in expanding research into targeted pharmacotherapies and integrated psychosocial approaches.
