Evolution of Post Massive Weight Loss Surgery

Massive weight loss following bariatric surgery has led to the evolution of a new field: postbariatric body contouring. This chapter discusses body contouring surgery after massive weight loss narrated through the five most cited landmark papers in the literature. Each of the selected articles had a unique impact on the anatomy, classification, presentation, and clinical approach to post-bariatric patients. Other important references are used to provide a better comprehensive overview of the topic.
