摘要

Human beings have permanently moved from one place to another for survival. Understanding how and why we emigrate is essential to understanding our history better, facing our present, and looking toward our future. Migration, a shared condition of our past, present, and future, is often accompanied by adverse conditions that cause poverty and inequalities. This chapter tackles SDG 1 (no poverty) and SDG 10 (reduce inequalities). It aims to provide educators with tools to teach children to make sense of crucial global transformations affecting their lives in a world on the move. The chapter includes a variety of children’s books to approach this topic, from the life cycle of a dandelion to their own stories that they have experienced.
