Acting Techniques Applied to Science Communication

This chapter is as the title suggests. Here the application of acting techniques to the development of skills as a science communicator is outlined and explained. Concepts such as generosity of spirit, actor’s faith, and telling the truth are discussed to lay a foundation for understanding how the work of an actor can be studied and applied to the goals of effective communication.
