Process Versus Result Orientation

This first chapter lays the groundwork for the approach to public speaking that will be discussed in the book. There are some similarities and many differences between the traditional approaches to public speaking and my view of the process. Comparisons to what has been acceptable practice in the past to new ways of looking at these things are outlined and explored in this chapter.
