Introduction

Theater is about life and the quest to understand it. As artists, we seek connection to our fellow human beings through our expressions in the form. As it turns out scientists and just about everyone else are interested in the same thing. Some of us are more introverted than others and maybe a bit awkward in our attempts to connect, but the desire is still there. That was the motivation behind this book, to suggest some techniques by which anyone interested in expressing themselves and being understood by others could find a way to simply connect.
