Enhancing Electrical System Stability: Analyzing Power Flow and Network Modifications
摘要
This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of power flow in distribution networks, highlighting its critical importance in maintaining the stability and efficiency of electrical systems. It anticipates potential challenges by studying the evolution of network topology, enabling proactive improvements to enhance reliability. The research investigates the impact of equipment and connectivity changes, which play a crucial role in system behavior, considering factors such as new loads, integration of renewable energy sources, and infrastructure upgrades. Advanced algorithms, including the Newton-Raphson method, are employed to examine the complex behavior of the network under various conditions. The study places a particular emphasis on the estimation of active/reactive power and the detection of overvoltage/undervoltage issues in a residential rural area comprising 14 nodes.
