Review of Models and Methods for Estimating Battery State of Charge in Electric Vehicles
摘要
Lithium-ion batteries have become one of the most popular rechargeable batteries because of their high energy density, long life and environmental protection, they are now considered the most viable option for powering electric vehicles, ships, and distributed energy storage systems. This technology makes it possible to store a large amount of energy for a low weight and volume. Accurate estimation of SOC can prevent excessive charging and discharging of li-ion batteries, thereby improving discharge efficiency and extending service life. This work summarizes a set of very recent bibliographical studies on SOC evaluation technologies based on models and some algorithms that provide better SOC accuracy.
