Realization of a Teslameter Based on an Analog Low-Cost Hall Effect Sensor for Educational Uses

摘要

The objective of this paper is to design, in a simple way, a low-cost teslameter using an analog magnetic sensor based on Hall effect included in a plastic probe to detect the magnetic field for educational purposes. To check the validity of our sensor, we compared the results with those obtained by a standard teslameter. The accuracy achieved by the low-cost digital teslameter reaches 99%. These accurate measurements demonstrate the efficacy and reliability of the teslameter, making it a valuable tool for enhancing the comprehension of magnetics field concepts.
