The Design and Control Strategy of an Energy Storage System Based on Compressed Air

In this article, we will propose a design and control strategy for an energy storage system based on compressed air with good electrical quality and flexibility the development of these strategies required an intensive use of calculations and computer simulations which must be validated experimentally. In this paper, the test benches carried out for this purpose will be described and the experimental results will be presented and commented on. The didactic bench carried out for the test of the pure pneumatic conversion system will be briefly described, then the first practical results of the MEPT strategy at from this bench will be presented and commented on.
