Electronic Components Cooling by Forced-Nanofluid Convection Inside a 3-D Vented Cavity with a Rectangular Adiabatic Baffle
摘要
This paper investigates numerically the Al2O3/H2O forced convection cooling inside a 3D partially heated vented cavity containing a rectangular adiabatic baffle. The conservation equations are discretised through the finite-volume approach. The heat transfer rate increases with increasing Reynolds numbers. Al2O3/H2O nanofluid can be used effectively as a cooling medium to prevent overheating of electronic components.
