Viability Study of an Autonomous Wind Turbine for Supplying Electrical Energy to the Laboratory Block of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Maradi, Niger Republic
摘要
Niger is an underdeveloped country whose energy situation is characterized by a low rate of access to conventional electricity, 6% in rural areas versus 80% in urban areas and about 13% nationally. To address this problem, it is essential to strengthen the country’s energy mix. The objective of this work is to investigate the technical and economic viability of an autonomous wind system to be installed at the University of Maradi. The results obtained show that the cost of the Kilowatt hour is competitive (€ 0.05/kWh). This study provides effective assistance to policy makers and all those in charge of the planning and implementation of wind projects in the Maradi region.
