Numerical Modelization of Fluid-Structure Interactions Using the Lattice Boltzmann Method

摘要

This study employs the lattice Boltzmann method to numerically investigate the passive control of fluid-structure interactions. The primary objective is to simulate fluid flow and temperature distributions surrounding a heated square cylinder controlled by three partitions within a two-dimensional channel. The incorporation of these partitions effectively manages the vortex, mitigates fluidic forces acting on the cylinder, and enhances heat transfer properties around the square cylinder. The outcomes reveal a notable 48.11% reduction in drag force, highlighting the substantial impact of including partitions on both fluid dynamics and heat exchange characteristics.
