An English Sentence Dictionary Based Secure Text Steganographic Technique for Message-Data Confidentiality

Steganography is a method for concealing messages in text, audio, images, and videos. This study outlines a text steganography method called Dictionary Based Text Steganography. This technique seeks for sentences to hide a given secret message. The alphabets of secret message are scattered among the selected sentence from the dictionary. The key is generated by finding index location of alphabet within the cover sentences. The experiment results show that the proposed technique is effective at hiding secret messages in text documents while maintaining the readability and integrity of the original text content. The encoding and decoding time is found to be least compared to existing techniques. Overall, this study offers a novel technique for text based steganography that has a great potential for use in applications involving data security and privacy.
