Trying to Evidence the Radioactivity from the Human Body

Even living organisms, including human bodies, contain a fraction of radioactive isotopes, namely the 40K, 14C, … so in principle they are also slightly radioactive. Is it possible to evidence the small activity from a human body with a simple Geiger counter? This problem is discussed trying to estimate the conditions under which such a measurement could be performed.
