Checking Low Levels of Radioactivity in Other Materials

A large variety of experiments may be carried out with a Geiger counter to evidence the weak radioactivity of household objects which may contain small fractions of radioactive elements. Several suggestions are given in this Section, with a few results obtained from a series of measurements carried out by the use of a small Geiger.
