Review of Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors for Marine Applications
摘要
Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors have gained significant attention in recent years due to their numerous advantages in the field of marine applications. This review paper provides an overview of FBG sensors and their utilization in various marine applications, including structural health monitoring, underwater acoustic sensing, oceanography, and offshore oil and gas exploration. The paper discusses the working principles of FBG sensors, their fabrication techniques, and the challenges associated with their implementation in marine environments. Additionally, it highlights the benefits of FBG sensors, such as their compact size, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and ability to measure multiple parameters simultaneously. The review concludes with an assessment of the current state-of-the-art, identifying potential future directions and emerging trends in FBG sensor technology for marine applications.
