Waves in a 2-D Elastic Space
摘要
An elastic layer can be understood as two parallel surfaces bounding a 3-D elastic space. In such circumstances the presence of the bounding surfaces limits potential directions of propagation of elastic waves, so it can be said that an elastic layer is a case of a 2-D elastic space.
