Swarm Intelligence: A Segmentation Approach
摘要
Segmentation is a required preprocessing method in image analysis. Because of the aberrant anatomical structure of brain tumours, segmenting them can be difficult. It is still challenging in the field of medicine to identify tumours, even though numerous images of the internal components of the cerebral cortex have been examined and preserved by using the latest magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. The pioneer method used in this segmentation procedure, Otsu’s method, is used to determine the ideal threshold values. To increase the accuracy and speed of computation, the Cuckoo-McCulloch technique is used with levy flight to calculate the objective function of this method. We put forth an effective algorithm that uses McCulloch’s process for levy-flight creation and is an effective picture-segmentation algorithm for computation. The effectiveness of cuckoo search (CS) is also evaluated by comparing it to Mantegna’s approach.
