Nurturing Mindful and Relational Learning
摘要
Nurturing mindfulness in learning spaces can support us in becoming grounded in our bodies, emotions, and in our ecological relatedness. One of the key aspects of quantum physics and also spiritual ecology is the idea of wholeness, the indivisibility of things, and the idea that so-called opposites are part of the same whole fabric, or web. In teaching and learning with a relational, ecological, spiritual lens, nurturing relationships is essential. Holding space for mindful and relational learning provides opportunities for being vulnerable, authentic, holistic beings who care about each other. I offer my practice of opening circle as an example and discuss how various contemplative and engaged practices can support mindful and relational learning.
