Introduction
摘要
As we witness the intensifying collapse of our ecological world and the corresponding surges of violence and deepening injustice, we are increasingly unrooted and overwhelmed. In this context, what does it mean to design and facilitate learning that nourishes and heals? We need learning that challenges and changes our deeply ingrained understanding of the world and ways of being, that goes beyond learning new ways of thinking and problem solving to re-learning how to live in the world in reciprocal and reverent ways. Sustainability learning, thus, must become a relational process of unlearning, restoring, and transforming our ways of being, re-rooting us in our connection with the earth and each other. This book explores what learning might look like when approached from an interconnected paradigm. How can leaders and facilitators design and foster transformative learning that is relational, ecological, and spiritual? What do these teaching and learning practices look like? How can educators and leaders reclaim their spiritual selves and act as healers in this time of transition and decline? How might we provide vision and possibility for greater relatedness and wholeness?
