Omnism: A Religion for All

Part of the processing of the editors was to look at the role of their own religious and spiritual backgrounds, both professionally and personally. The lead editor and co-author of this chapter, Dr. Moffic, thereby asked Dr. Gogineni: “Rao, what is your religion?” I took a long pause, searched the literature, and googled about religions. I came to the conclusion that I’m an Omnist and informed Dr. Moffic. In character, Dr. Moffic asked me then to write a chapter about being an Omnist. This chapter conveys my religious and spiritual basis of spirituality and religion, the development of Omnism, some well-known Omnists, and a co-editor’s response.
