摘要

Kerala State in India is often known as “God’s Own Country.” Living up to this name, religious harmony has existed here since centuries.  It is home to 34 million people of various religions.  This diversity has led to a rich tapestry of religious practices and traditions. Major religions of Kerala are Hinduism, Islam and Christianity  and the smaller Jewish, Jain and other communities. Kerala's main strength has been its religious harmony. People of all faiths live here in peace and harmony practising their faiths, at the same time deeply respectful of the traditions and religious practices of others. This paper analyses the history and evolution of this progressive advancement.
