Symmetric Properties of Eigenvalues and Eigenfunctions of Uniform Beams with Axial Loads

In this contribution, the models of uniform Euler-Bernoulli beams with axial loads on the Winkler foundations are considered. Qualitative results that influence the symmetry of the coefficient of foundation and axial loads on the spectral properties of the corresponding problems are obtained. Hinged-hinged types of fixing at the ends are studied, and the results obtained are also true for the clamped-clamped case. Some known results have been summarized.
