Modification of the Balanced Scorecard in a Digital Economy
摘要
Currently, managers worldwide have to deal with a wide range of emerging tasks that evolve from the changing external environment and brand-new market trends in management. Enterprises are actively developing and adopting various types of information systems, which contributes to the overall significance of information as a major resource. Consequently, the modern digital world calls for adjustments to be introduced to the classical approaches and strategic tools. This research presents a modified model of the balanced scorecard, which includes a new component—“IT Environment”. The following indicators make the fabric of the suggested component: sustainability of information systems, measures to ensure data quality, integration speed, development of a single databank, data security, access to relevant information, adaptability of developed solutions, and digital maturity of customers.
