The History of the Formation and Development of the Energy Profile of the Graduate School of Industrial Management
摘要
The paper examines the research and teaching endeavors of renowned polytechnic scientists concerning the structure and administration of the Russian electric power sector. The connection of generations in this area has been reliably proven. The paper reveals the role of the scientists’ academic studies in guaranteeing the choice of the best operating modes for different kinds of power plants in intricate electric power systems, the theoretical defense of standards for assessing viable options for the creation of power systems, techniques for gauging expenses and outcomes in the energy industry, building energy balances, and computing energy reserves. The active participation of the academicians in the development of methodological provisions for optimizing the parameters of overhead lines and substations for high- and ultra-high voltage power transmission and determining their role in the development of the country’s electric power systems, in solving problems of ensuring the environmental safety of high-voltage transmissions, forecasting methods, and strategic planning in the energy sector is shown. It is proposed to preserve and develop the traditions of practice-oriented education in the preparation of students in the field of electric power management.
