Development of the Theory of Optimization and Management of Metallurgical Production and Its Technological Processes
摘要
In both the USSR and Russia, modernization in the industrial sector of the economy has always taken hold of a strong foundation of sovereignty. It has led to a need for better techniques and possibly new strategies for the planning, management, and structure of recently established businesses in important sectors including construction, metallurgy, energy, and machinery manufacturing. The research analyzes the scientific and pedagogical actions of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University’s scientists in the scientific line of “organization and management of metallurgical production” and their role in the development of management theory. Practical implementation of the outcomes of scientific advancements in production planning, organization, and optimization as well as the installation of automated control systems was carried out at all of the state's metallurgical complex's enterprises. To provide resources for the educational process in bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate courses for engineer-economists and production managers, a study of academic and scientific publications was conducted.
